Ms. Exoti-Lady World Pageant 2011 Official Contestants & Hosts Name Announced

On Sunday, April 17, 2011 Maria Amor, President and CEO of Exotifit International Inc., benefiting Exotifit for Humanity announced the name of the Ms. Exoti-Lady World Pageant 2011 contestants and event hosts.

The above beauty contestants will be judged on the following categories: 20% on Beauty and Style, 20% on Interview, 20% on Swimsuit and 40% on Popularity.

The event will be hosted by actress Anne Judson-Yager and Vayaconmigo host Joey Valdez. Special peformance by recording artist Justin Chase and by the Exoti-Angels and Exoti-Goddesses.

The pageant event is schedule for Friday, May 20, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am at The Universal Hilton in Universal City, CA located at 555 Universal Terrace Parkway in Universal City, CA 91608-1001. Per event organizers their goal is to celebrate a night of beauty, style, and cultural appreciation for women of least 35 years of age and of all nationalities.

Ticket are still available $80 for VIP with dinner and $30 for regular tickets with no dinner. Parking cost is $14 for valet and $9 for self-parking, both with the appropriate validation. Soraya Fallah’s eyes tell stories. They tell stories of her incredible life and that of the Kurdish people she represents. Her beauty and warm presence is seldom forgotten. Her appearance is surpassed only by her intelligence and tireless dedication to human rights. She has spent nearly all of her adult life fighting for the basic rights of women and children, specifically the rights of persecuted ethnic minorities in the Middle East. Her work has often endangered her life, but she has continued on with more urgency and resilience. She has come to be well-known around the world for her contributions to the plight of disenfranchised people. She is the recipient of a several awards from International NGOs, recognizing her many years of leadership in the community. She has spoken at many conferences including the United Nations as the first Kurdish women delegate.

Most people know Soraya as an activist, community organizer, and researcher. What they might not be aware of is that she is also an amazing artist. She believes that art is one of the most effective forms of resistance in the face of human suffering. Her creativity manifests in her songwriting. She sings traditional as well as modern music. She hopes that her songs can help raise awareness about the atrocities facing the people she is fighting for. She also designs clothing inspired by traditional Kurdish costumes and presets her heritage during various cultural events.

Soraya received her M.A in International Relations and Law. She is the President and co-founder of World’s Women For Life, which is a world-wide movement to promote culture of life and preemptive peace.

Soraya has been able to juggle her full time activism along with being a loving wife and mother to two children. She also works full-time at her day job as a social worker.
