What/Why:

This Friday May 20th is a big day!

No, it's not a national holiday-sorry- but it just might be better ;)

Universal Hilton will host a special televised event complete with red carpet, 1000+ guests wearing fancy gowns and tuxedos, VIP and Celebrity appearances, more than 100media, and beautiful pageant ladies.

What is it for?

It's a charity pageant raising funds for underprivileged women, children and physically challenged people. The charity is called EXOTIFIT FOR HUMANITY and it is a registered 501c tax-except non-for-profit.

This pageant will change your view of beauty contests; it's unlike any other. The contestants are accomplished, strong, beautiful women 35 and over, most of whom are mothers, professionals, and passionate productive members of their communities. These beauties are coming together to raise awareness and money for a great cause.

Friday night will also be a night of entertainment with exciting performances. This is a perfect opportunity for aspiring artists/models/actors/dir ectors and business people to network with highly ambitious like minded individuals and groups in a glamorous atmosphere.

So, postpone whatever else you have planned for Friday and use this as an excuse to get all dressed up in Hollywood.

Ticket prices are $80 for VIP with dinner and $30 for regular tickets with no dinner. Parking is $14 for valet and $9 for self-parking, both with the appropriate validation.

I entered this pageant because it gives women of all shapes, color ,background an opportunity to do good. Its a celebration of women's beauty, inside and out. It breaks from the against norms of Hollywood by giving women in their middle age a stage to shine. I was also very attracted by Maria's vision because this is about celebrating cultures and building a bond with people from around the world. Its a platform to voice women's interests, feelings, and aspirations. Another important aspect of this pageant is that pushes women to adopt a healthy active lifestyle. As for wining it all for fun healthy competition. we are all winners because we are here right now.
As a Human rights activist I feel strongly about working for those less fortunate especially underprivileged women and children .I will continue promote women's empowerment and encourage all women to recognize the beauty in themselves and take time to care for our self. A woman is a mother, wife, a lover, a daughter, a friend, an aunt, a sister, an educator ,a provider, a caretaker, a professional and much more...so we need to take time to appreciate our strength. will aspire to raise funds fo humanitarian efforts and spread awareness about the challenges people face but also develop ideas to make a difference. And care about health and nature as well.
